An old friend of mine took early retirement from BT last year and decided to take a 2 year ‘adventure’ sailing around the world with a mate of his. He’s coming up for around the half way mark in terms of time and distance and they’re keeping daily/weekly blog updates. All I can say is ‘Good on you Pete’. I must say the blogging and in particular the photographs they’re taking make me extremely jealous yet hopeful for the future as it just goes to prove you can’t keep a good man down and there is indeed life out there … you just need to grab hold and go for it.
