’55 Fiction’ is a similar challenge to the Drabble, only this time, it limits you to exactly 55 words. It must be fiction (so no poetry) and you can’t go over the word limit, but other than that, write what you want … I’ll post mine here as and when I develop them:
FREEFALL
Free falling was all part of the fun. That freedom from restrictions as you drop. The only sound is the air rushing by. The radio call coming into his ear from his wife came as a shock. A few simple words were all it took. “Jim? It’s Sally. I repacked your chute this morning. Goodbye.”
